An early start with Sophie Anderson from Viviens

Sophie Anderson from Viviens Models and I headed to Balmoral for sunrise, which, you can see from my shoots lately, has been one of my go-to spots. We kept this one short and sharp, staying in Hunters Bay at the northern end because the sun hits here earlier and more directly as it passes between the harbour headland.

Lately, I’ve tried to incorporate more props and tried harder to introduce elements to the shoot that make things more fun and interactive. Feeling relaxed and telling a story are big focus points for my photos. After a dip in the water in a floral set from Seafolly, we lay on the sand in a green set from Esmé Resort before I gave Sophie a water soaker and challenged her to a fight, which, you can see, I won. We finished with a quick dip in a white set from Esme before calling it quits.

Shot entirely on film, on my trusty Canon Eos SLRs, with no retouching. You can reach out to Michelle at Viviens about Sophie’s availabilities!
