Harbourside swims with Matisse De Giorgio

I spent an afternoon with Matisse De Giorgio in and around Mosman, meeting at the Marina and skipping over to Clifton Gardens before taking a final dip at Balmoral. I live close and have been walking around here more and more lately, and it felt good to spend some time shooting around areas I’m fond of for their beautiful, striking sunsets in Sydney’s north.

This wasn’t the first time Matisse and I shot together. Years ago, when I was quite new to this, I worked with her in Byron, where she’s from, and how far we have both come!

Both Red and Yellow bikini sets are from Triangl Swim, and the crochet bikini was from She Made Me, who I first noticed through some of Brydie Mack’s beautiful photos years ago.

If you’d like to work with Matisse, contact Chic Brisbane here.

These images are shot entirely on 35mm film using a Canon EOS 3, with no editing, on a few stocks, mainly Kodak Portra 400, and Kodak Gold and finishing in black and white on Ilford XP2.
